GIScience Conference Series
Welcome to the GIScience conference series. From its inception in 2000, GIScience remains the flagship conference in the field of geographic information science. The conference regularly brings together more than 300 international participants from academia, industry, and government to discuss and advance the state-of-the-art in geographic information science.

The Thirteenth International Conference on Geographic Information Science will be held in Christchurch, New Zealand, on 26-29 August 2025. It is being hosted by the University of Canterbury in collaboration with the GIScience academic research community across New Zealand.
