After the previous announcement, the time has come for Circular No. 2, which is available at http://geoinfo.amu.edu.pl/wpk/GIScience2020_Circular_no2.pdf. Registration

Registration will be open on 1 March 2020 at 12:00 AM CET at the URL: giscience2020.syskonf.pl/. After registration, you receive email with bank account information. Electronic registration will close on 31 July 2020. After that date, the registration will be possible by writing an e-mail to Organizing Committee: 2020giscience@gmail.com.

Conference Fees

The conference fees cover a 3-day public transportation pass, catered lunches and coffee breaks served at the conference venue, conference materials, and the banquet for each participant.

Cancellations will be accepted until 31 July 2020.
Refunds will be made less a 60.00 Euro cancellation fee. Should a refund be required, please email gisscience2020@gmail.com with your booking details. There will be no refunds issued after 31 July 2020.

Travel award

The Organising Committee of GIScience 2020, the 11th International Conference on Geographical Information Science in Poznań, Poland, 15-18th September 2020, invites travel grant applications from PhD students. Thanks to the generosity of conference sponsors, several travel grants of 300 Euros each will be allocated on competitive bases to student applicants attending the conference. All PhD students including those at an early stage of their program are encouraged to apply. In order to be considered, the applicants must submit the following files in the pdf format before 1 April 2020:

Applications should be submitted electronically to: 2020giscience@gmail.com. All applicants will be notified on the result of their application by 1 May 2020. In order to receive the grant, the successful applicants must register for the conference by 31 May 2020.
